Gangtok

Changu Lake

This is arguably the most beautiful place to visit in Sikkim. Situated at over 12000ft, Changu Lake, also known as the Tsomgo Lake is one of the highest elevated lakes in the country. A Lord Shiva temple can be seen on the shores of the lake. Yak and Pony rides are a major attraction in this part.

Lachung

Situated close to the Tibetan border, Lachung is one of the popular destinations in Sikkim. Tourists from around the country visit this place for witnessing the enthralling natural beauty of this place. The major attractions of this place are the Lachung River, Lachung Monastery, Gurudongmar Lake etc.

Pelling

One of the most visited places in the state, Pelling is known for its lush greeneries and pleasant atmosphere. The small town consists of the Pemayangstey Monastery. It is one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim. Apart from that, Kanchenjunga Fall, Rabdentse Ruins, Singshore bridge are other popular spots of Pelling.

Goechala
